2009 Sheep Show information is in the process of
being updated.
   The intent of the Central Florida Fair Sheep Committee is to promote Youth Development  
opportunities and Florida Agricultural enterprises through programs that utilize the sheep production
industry of Florida.  The Committee is committed to promoting the Central Florida Fair as a forerunner
in developing opportunities for the future of the Florida agricultural community.

Youth Scholarship Opportunities
Oxford Sheep Foundation Flock Award - Essay Contest
The Foundation Award will be given out annually and will help to establish one new
Oxford flock every year.  The flock itself will consist of 8 quality Oxford ewes and 1 good
RR Oxford ram.  Deadline: May 15th of each year.
Sheep Education Day and Jackpot Show - January 24, 2009.
The 2009 Market Lamb Weigh-In is scheduled for January 31, 2009.
The Skill-a-thon material will cover Products and Marketing
Sheep Judging Competition will be held at the 2009 Central Florida Fair Sheep Shows.

The Meat Sheep Alliance of Florida will be holding an essay contest for their First Flock
giveaway scholarship.  This event is for youth of Florida interested is raising sheep.
